GET TO KNOW US

The recipes, the concepts around our market tables, and the oooey gooey jam in those glistening Bernardin jars, I am proud to say are all me! Making jam is my passion! I know that sounds cheesy but my heart literally sings when I’m with my thoughts stirring my jam pot!

My husband, Andrew can often be seen manning the sample stand at markets and he prides himself on “feeding you until you fall over”! He not only helps at markets, he also ties the tags onto each jar along with a thousand other random requests I throw at him.  Needless to say he is this little jam companies biggest fan!

She‘s strong, she’s creative, she’s cheeky and funny, she’s our daughter Isabelle! Izzy is the muscle behind the scenes for each of our markets.  She may not physically be at the market but she’s packed all the jars and hauled everything to the trucks to get us ready! She is the smart and subtle creative force behind this jam dream!

My mom, Dalene is the “front of the house” at each of our markets.  She is the happy smile and chatty personality welcoming you into our booth. She’s our market rock star but look closer and each of our table skirts are all her gorgeous doing as well.  She has her finger on just about everything The Klapp Farm!

Along with Andrew, my grandma (yes you too can call her grandma, she will respond it’s been tested!) also runs the sample stand.  She is the reason this little jam dream came to life and is my biggest fan! Be sure to ask for a sample of her fav Pina Colada and watch her eyes light up! 

He goes by many names - Ron or Papa are the most common and it’s like a Where’s Waldo game - if you see him you’ve already won! He rarely goes to markets but when he does, he is crazily obsessing about having jam bags prepared to not keep you waiting. He prefers to be behind the scenes and probably has the toughest job of all~punching all those jam tags! He’s quiet and stealthy but don‘t underestimate his jam enthusiasm!
